Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. This is your personal data and we respect your rights and will only use this data to deliver our service to you.

Charles Peters may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

Any current/past clients/candidates:

If you are an existing candidate or an employer, we have a contractual obligation to deliver services to you. Please can we make you aware that your data is safe and secure, and we use this contact detail to deliver our services such as emails on your job roles, updates on interviews, invoices etc. When we have finished dealing with you, we will check if you are happy for us to keep your details on file; if at any stage you are not happy for us to do this then please let us know and we will delete your details immediately.

CVs are not kept unless you ask us to they will be deleted as soon as we have finished dealing with you on that current role (both hard copy and electronic). If however you do want us to keep your details on file, then we will keep them for up to 2 months, after 2 months they will be deleted (both hard copy and electronic).

For candidates and clients who complete the recruitment process, your invoice and personal details (CVs) are kept in a secure location by our accounts department for 7 years for legal records.

Suppliers or other business:

We will hold your contact details because we have a legitimate interest in doing business with your company. We will hold this information for 2 years since our last contact with you. Please note that it is possible that we collected this information from public directories e.g. LinkedIn or that you passed us your business card with your details on. Again, if you do not want to be contacted by us, please let us know and you will be removed immediately.

 What Personal Details do we collect

When you provide us with your CV and covering letter, you provide this to us freely. We ask that you do not submit such personal information to us if you do not want us to collect it.

We may collect the following information from both clients and candidates:
• name and job title
• contact information including email address
• demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
• other information relevant to recruitment

We source all our clients lawfully.

What we do with the Personal information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • With your consent we will forward your details to our clients to review your CV / covering letter and feedback to us. Please note that once the CV is sent to the company they are also responsible for your personal data.
  • Clients details will be forwarded to candidates as requested by the client for the interview process.
  • Internal record keeping.
    • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
    • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
    • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

Controlling your personal information

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

If at any time you want us to remove your details, please get in touch and we will remove you immediately.

Candidates rights: If at any time you want to be forgotten, rectify or access data, restrict processing, withdraw consent please contact us directly on 01926 857000. As we stated early we do not keep your CVs on file unless you ask us to. If you do we will only hold your details for 2 months then they will be deleted.

We do use Google Analytics tracking code and from time to time may add other third-party tracking systems to our website. These systems collect information on the IP address of visitors and will be used solely for in-house marketing purposes.

Newsletters
We may choose to send out e-newsletters from time to time. If at any point you do not wish to receive these, please click on the unsubscribe link which you will find at the bottom of each e-newsletter.
