A vacancy has arisen in our clients Business Development Department for selling information security and physical security consultancy services to the UK public sector (Government, Police and NHS) and the wider commercial sectors. The role will involve self-generation of leads through proactive telecalling, establishing a decision maker, educating the client on the benefits of the solutions, attending sales meetings supported by proposal and quote generation and subsequent account management following successful sales closure. This is a full sales cycle role and the successful candidate will be expected to take full responsibility for his/her accounts. Full service portfolio training will be provided.

This role is predominantly office based. The company’s offices are based in Halesowen, West Midlands.
• A proven track record in sales from cold calling/lead generation to sales closure • Solutions/Consultative Sales experience essential • Strong communication and presentation skills • An excellent approach to business development with the confidence to take knock backs in their stride • Experience in a services sector is preferred but not essential • Experience of using a CRM system is essential (the internal system is SugarCRM) • Must have own transport.
Basic Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 basic, OTE £50,000
Commission: 4% to 6% per sale – uncapped. Current targets are set at c£420,000
In addition we offer 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, payment into a company pension scheme and reasonable expenses including mileage and subsistence.
